“My concern on a much larger level is that we have students on this campus who don’t know how to treat each other. We have students who have been in situations where they are sexually assaulting others. I want to make sure we engage all our students in thinking about and understanding the serious nature of such allegations.’’

laughinginflowers asked: Hey, I just came across this blog and just wanted to say, I fully support what you're doing. I go to BC, and signed the petition with enthusiasm today. When my brother (Northeastern boy) told me he was going to Barstool and I thought it was just another party, but then I really looked into it and was disgusted. I just hope he decided not to go. Keep prevailing! Rape should NOT be the butt of...

Moving forward to education
One of our goals for the future of our movement is to focus on education. A lot of people have been hearing us talk about rape culture, but many are still confused on what it is. Education is powerful!
We’re having a teach-in on rape culture this Thursday, 6 PM in 19 International Village on NU’s campus. The panel is TBA but will include both students and faculty. Spread the word!

gidemo-deactivated20120314 asked: So I found this blog today and been reading through it. A common message you all seem to get is 'why not focus on something else? this is just a small blog and it's funny.' Obviously these people are missing the point. Since it is considered small and funny everyone takes it as something normal and acceptable and I am glad to finally see someone standing against this. Also it...
altraragazza asked: Thank you for all you've done! I took some photos from the protest and they're on my tumblr...just let me know if there are any pictures that you'd want taken down or more info added to them.
alexgoestoboston asked: Will you be posting the meeting time this weekend online? I would love to attend.
The march was AMAZING today! Thank you to everyone who came out. We’ll be meeting sometime this weekend to discuss future actions.
Tomorrow’s the big day! Rally at 6:30 in the Freshman Quad at Northeastern, start moving to the House of Blues at 7:30!
Bring signs, megaphones, glow sticks, boomboxes, smiles, pamphlets, shouting voices, party hats, noisemakers, whatever you’d like!

deluminatemyheart asked: You guys are doing great. The "stoolies" that call you misogynist words to try and prove their point makes them look even worse. Besides, hearing a guys says "Stoolie for life" and "Viva la Stool" only makes me think stool = poo and I can't help but laugh that little bros.
ladyshipwreck asked: I'm a recent Northeastern grad, and I'm behind you completely. This sort of thing has gone on far too long, and conversations need to be started and sustained in order to spread awareness. Keep up the great work!

If you are not outraged, then you are not paying attention.
Hi, everyone. I am a sophomore at Northeastern University. As many of you may have heard, the Northeastern Barstool Blackout Tour is taking place on Thursday, an event sponsored by the website Barstool Sports, which focuses more on the...
kneesocks asked: "Why do you care so much about what people think? Don't care so much about your image and live life." "Why do you care so much" is a really lame way of trying to belittle someone, to whoever posted that. KObarstool has every right to not want NU associated with rape culture and misogyny-peddling excuses for bloggers. Also, I really applaud what you guys are doing -- just...
